It’s “Fishing Season” for online predators. Child protection organizations are seeing a ’significant uptick” in predators using COVID-19 as an opportunity to exploit online.

Sexual predators are ready to take advantage of increased screen time during COVID-19 pandemic, police say. Predators can reach children on well-known apps like TikTok and Instagram, as well as gaming interfaces like Roblox and Discord and websites like Omegle.
